It’s a bug. When you enter information into a
form, the page refreshes in the browse mode cursor. If it didn't, you
would have to manually refresh it every time you enter information using browse
mode.
I don't know what NVDA does if a page automatically
refreshes.

Yep, that works, but I also have the ame issue. Buttons don't change etc. Its' very odd. I have the issue at simbri3efcom, aavirtual.net, flyvirtual,net, the discord app in canary and regular form, the simbrief download maanger, google sometimes, most of the time, discord's website, mee6.xyz, you get the point. same problem here, on amazon when i click a link in the results list, the new window doesn't appear without an alt tab switch or nvda key-f5 i've noticed this problem on few websites before NVDA 2019.3

nvda 2019.3.1 with seika braille display

hello, i have a very old model of seika braille display, i can't remember exactly the type. when i installed the latest version of nvda it stopped working. i went to the user guide and tried to download the updated version of seika driver from the link attached there, but it asked for a username and password and it didn't let me download the driver. my computer runs with windows 7 64 bit. thanks for your help

The only thing I wish we could do is lets say you have a computer crash and you are out of activations for eloquence or vocalizer. I wish we could go to a special website, put in our registered license key, press reset button, and our key count or license count will be reset back to 3 installs. You can do this with jaws, so why not vocalizer and eloquence? Its annoying if you have a computer crash and want to get back up right away and if you are out of keys you have to contact your distributor and they have to reset your license back to 3 activations for you. I wish we could do this ourselves like we can with jaws.

If you can afford them, maybe try buying the sapi5 vocalizer voices? They are not tied to NVDA and will work with any application such as NVDA, jaws, audio games, text file readers, and any other applications that use or can use sapi5 tts. I have the best of both worlds though. 6 or so months ago I bought sapi5 eloquence, sapi5 vocalizer, and the eloquence vocalizer voice bundle NVDA addon from www.atguys.com ... And a few years ago I also bought sapi5 eloquence with its own separate key from computer room services in the UK, even though I live in the United States so I have two sapi5 eloquence keys, one eloquence vocalizer addon NVDA-addon bundle key, and one vocalizer sapi5 key. Vocalizer sapi5 is a bit expensive, but its worth it in my opinion because it works with all sapi5 applications, including windows10 narrator. If you can't afford either of those, the windows10 oneCore voices are good and they support a lot of languages just like vocalizer does.

Hi all,
I’m having an issue that I don’t quite know how to solve.
On some sites, audible being the chief, whenever I try making changes to a given page it doesn’t seem to refresh properproperly unless I alt tab out of it then alt tab back in.
This was happening before the update but I can’t seem to find how you stop it.
Can someone please help?

Speech on demand addon for NVDA, and a bug in Microsoft office

Hi guys, is there a speech on demand like jaws, available for NVDA? I think it will be very useful in some of the apps. More over, I’m using ms office 2016 pro, with latest NVDA, and I’ve enabled UI automation, after opening any document in word, NVDA says read-only before reading a line, I think it’s a bug, and needed to be fix, because with UI automation enabled, NVDA response more better.

When someone calls me on Google Hangouts, I am unable to hear the "Hang up" or "Answer call" button when I tab around.
Often, on almost every website, when I click a link, the screen does not refresh for some of the links. For example: Click on "Laptops". Visually the screen refreshes, but the screen doesn't refresh for NVDA until I switch windows and come back.
On Google Docs and Google Sheets, when a sheet or doc opens with braille support disabled, NVDA says "blank" before every item.
In Gmail, sometimes when I open a message, the message is blank but for a blank clickable element on mail.google.com. I need to repeatedly refresh the screen for the content to show to NVDA. The content is there visually.
I am unable to open PDFs in Gmail in the default viewer.
Often the buttons for attachments show as disabled, but when I click on "Download", even if it says it's disabled, the document downloads.
These are just a handful of problems I have encountered.
