William, if you want to have free hosting while at the same time
experimenting w/WordPress, then I suggest you consider a site on
wordpress.com. You get an url that looks like
wordpress.com/yourusername, but it'll allow you to begin discovering
what WordPress has to offer for free & also not have to worry about
administering your site.

The downside, as Sarah points out, is that you don't have as much
control over the themes you can use, & plugins to extend the site's
functionality are pretty much nonexistent.

I do host websites, but I charge for that service, & likely more than
larger companies do, simply because I supply more services behind the
scenes. Note also that my signature contains a mailing list for
WordPress newbies to which you should feel free to subscribe. Lastly,
www.wp4newbs.com is a site that contains some free WordPress
tutorials, but much of it concentrates on site administration, so if
you're going to use wordpress.com for awhile, you might not need those
right now.

I believe wordpress.com allows you to install the WordPress Classic
Editor, & I would recommend you get started w/WordPress using that.

It will give you a idea of what to do.

I believe orbit research has info about their new products on their website . You can also look at the blind bargains page to see about the new products. A plain text editor like Notepad is what one would use to open variant
files. Someone else should answer your other questions as I don't have

I am currently looking at all the ESpeak-NG variant files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\synthDrivers\espeak-ng-data\voices\!v. I
was hoping to dip my feet in editing and improving ESpeak-NG variants
in the coming days, and see what I might be able to come up with.
* The variant files don't seem to have any extension. Which editor
should I open them with? Currently viewing a lot of numbers when
opening one of the variant files using Notepad.
* I would assume that if these numbers are meaningful, they depict
different parameters of a voice. Is there some reference on what these
different properties of speech are, so that I know what aspect of the
speech I am tweakingg when changing any number?
* Any other tips or thoughts on creating new ESpeak-NG variants and
refining existing one would also be useful.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

Are you trying to change the language for Edge alone?

It's my understanding, at least for the stable version of Edge, that it should follow whatever language you have set as the Windows Display Language under Settings, Time & Language, Language Pane.   I don't know if any of the preview channels (Beta, Dev, Canary) do this, though I'd expect they would.

If you have the stable version of Edge installed, and all your other system utilities like File Explorer, Settings themselves, etc., all show up in Czech then I'd report the issue to Microsoft via the Feedback Hub or from within Edge itself via the Send Feedback button (if it exists in the stable version.  I can reach it in Dev by hitting ALT then left arrowing until I land on it.)

I personally don't believe in using free web hosting. I pay for all of mine, and my clients' web hosting packages, or at least they do lol! I'ts much better that way, and you are in control of what plugins you use and don't use, and can scan for problems etc.

did you press f2 before reading spredsheets?
in some versions of libreoffice , you need f2 and scape first.
