@Howard, in my case sometimes it works if I use numpad 0 as the NVDA modifier key, instead of the capslock which I normally use.

OK, how do we fix it? Until then, I guess I'll just live with it.

@mk360 alright, I understand the case for third party clients. They seem very useful. Will definitely try them out. Are there any such clients for other social media networks, like Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and Quora?

Re: Call for a tutorial
Sarah,
You have, in times past, recommended the Reapers Without Peepers group right here on Groups.io. The resource you mention, along with several others including Osara, SWS extensions, and reaperaccessibility.com are all mentioned, front and center, in the group description section. The e-mail addresses for the group are, like all Groups.io groups, located under the section Group Email Addresses on the same page. There is also the Windows 10 for Screen Reader Users group on Groups.io as well. A quick web search on "Goldwave blind" turns up a treasure trove of infomation, including but not limited to, 24 Karat GoldWave! A Training Course for Screen-Reader ... , and Accessible Audio Editor for Visually ... - Blind Street. There is also a GoldWave add-on for the NVDA screen reader, too.

Re: Call for a tutorial
There is no such thing as a free lunch. For the third one, google for the reapers accessibility wiki. You will find lots of stuff there including a list you can join. This was actually posted on the archives here, please look at those first. I do recommend the reapers list by the way, all of them on there rock. Sarah Alawami, owner of TFFP. . Hi,

The cost for Reaper's license for individuals or small businesses is $60 US, although there is a trial period in which you can evaluate. The accessibility extension (Osara) is free. I'd personally suggest joining the RWP list if you have further questions. Daniel

Hello Rui. Can you confirm that Tiflotecnia's version of Vocalizer is NVDA 2019.3 compatible? Upon downloading the driver I was told it was incompatible. Thanks.

Hi folks,

I have a desktop keyboard but find it more convenient to set my NVDA to laptop. When I try to use the synth settings ring, the NVDA plus shift plus control with left or right do nothing. And when I do the NVDA plus shift plus control with up or down, I can make it faster but not slower. It keeps getting faster by fives and gets so fast that I can't understand it. To get it back to normal, I have to use JAWS or Narrator. This is a bit disconcerting. Howard

Re: Any desktop client for twitter with NVDA
The reply privately button isn't working on the web interface for some reason. I'll reboot my computer later. Anyway, the below guide will explain what it is in far better detail, but it's basically a more open and decentralized Twitter, connected to the fediverse. It's like a million different twitters all separate, but connected to each other. It's like email, but with social networks. So, if a TW Blue for Mastodon were created, people could use whatever client they wanted to talk to others in another server, AKA, instance. Anyway, read the below. Start at chapter 1.
