Hi, I don’t use IE, I use Chrome I don’t use edge often. I mostly use Chrome as default browser.  I can partly confirm your problem.  I’ll play around with your link some more later tonight.

I don't see an error with Chrome. I don't use Edge. What I do see with chrome is something that looks as though a lot of source code is displayed.

Firefox renders the page better but it gives a message at the top
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

We'll see what people say with the technical knowledge to evaluate the situation but I doubt the page will display properly in general. I don't know if there is any problem other than what may exist on the page.

If the program spawns a window in the local system account, it's not enough to run as administrator in some cases. You literally need to start nvda with the system account as the owner of the process.

Pranav,
I'm not entirely sure what may be happening in your case, but I'm almost certain that the program is spawning a window as the local system account in Windows. Many programs of this nature tend to do that because they run deeply ingrained with the operating system. The only way I know to work around this is to spawn NVDA as the local system account (don't do this permanently), and then interact with the prompt.
You can do this by using PSExec found at (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/psexec). Keep in mind that you need admin access to the machine for this to work.
To use the utility, Unzip it somewhere on your desktop and open a command prompt as administrator. Change directory to the extracted utility. Then spawn a command prompt as the local system account by running something like PSExec.exe -sid cmd. In the new command prompt window, find your NVDA directory and run nvda.exe. NVDA will restart with local system account privileges.

I would recommend that you download and install the Mozilla Apps Enhancements addon. I wish I could tell you exactly which header you need to hide but experiment with the addon as I'll bet you'll eventually figure out which of the two headers are displaying the message recipient.

I know that you can purchase Ivona also from the "arpo" web site. They cost 39 euro per voice.
Unfortunately now I am at office and not home, but I remember that with NVDA there are some issues with pitch, and also the audio quality is for some strange causes different.

Does it always do this on that page - eg if you go back to the same page will it do it again?  If so, can you share the URL please?

Are you using any NVDA add-ons?  If you restart NVDA without those (NVDA+Q then down arrow to "Restart NVDA with add-ons disabled" then enter) does it make a difference.

And which version of NVDA are you using?  EG NVDA 2020.2 or NVDA 2020.3 RC1? (and if you try the other version does it help?)

I am actually interested in portable virtual box because I can run it,
its drivers and services when I want will run and it will go away when I
am done, yet I can use it and it may just be the ticket to my fiddling.

Then again after the almost near fatal experience with the latest vmware
on windows I am loathed to bother trying at all.

I don't have room for a dedicated system to run virtual anything and
since I almost had to reformat due to no keyboard working in windows,
and with my tinkering with virtual machines really just that, I
seriously don't want to go through that again.

If its possible I therefore want something that will run from anywhere,
and then when I don't need it go away leaving windows in tact.

Is it worth to try again, it looks like I may get a better ride with
keyboard shortcuts and can customise them which will be really cool.

But is it worth it and will it be better than vmware or should I simply
get out of virtual machines alltogether.
When looking for virtualisation software, I first went for Virtualbox
with the intention of using it from the CLI.
I've never been able to get what I wanted from it and went for Qemu instead.

With things ported from linux, in most cases, the CLI is always working
on Windows.

This is with addons on, addons off, running waterfox classic.It will happen again if I use the program some more.

Its a lot more stable than the beta and does not completely crash.

From the looks of it it looks like a virtual buffer error but what is it?

Closed and reopened waterfox 2020.09 classic to the site with the issue and there is no problem.

I have just gone through 2 sets of forums, livejournal, twitter and 6 wordpress sites and 3 blogspot sites in and it crashes.

There are some slow loading sites that always load slow.

sites like www.digitaldarragh.com/blog and yourdolphin.com and it handles it ok.

Is it not clearing the buffers.

I let it go through sites by leaving it alone but while a site was loading I hit control to silence speech.

Waterfox did load the site and that seems to work, but nvda seems to have the issue with waterfox, could be a sync error.

Ok, after brousing through a few more sites, I let a few through then hit control to interupt speech a few times and got this error from garbage collecter.

I am still suspecting this is a virtual buffers issue or something, it didn't happen in the previous version of waterfox or maybe it has been doing so and not generating enough to cause nvda to bail.

This is standard brousing.

The issue is I can't get it to bail on command.

Its the buffers, but the only thing I can think is they are not clearing, I don't know python but I have done programming courses back in the day and it looks like the buffers are probably it.

Something is not clearing right.

The slower a site is interacting when loading the more of a chance it is.

I can make it happen but I have to brouse round the net going from site to site for a few minutes before it triggers.

I can try to make it trigger but I can't make it do on demand.

I can continue to run on 08, but even so.

Any takers?
Microsoft Edge Internet Explorer mode conflict with NVDA

Hi.  When I tried to read a podcast feed in Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode, the speech quit.  I had to restart NVDA, and when I did, the page was read as a restore error.  I used Internet Explorer mode because the default mode for both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome displays what I think is the code for a lot of the podcast feeds I use.  I like reading through podcast feeds in web browsers.

I'm not sure about Waterfox, but the other thing for the OP to try is running NVDA with add-ons disabled - press NVDA+Q then down arrow to "Restart with add-ons disabled" and press ENTER.  See if that helps.  If it does, it is likely an add-on causing problems.  Try only enabling one at a time to work out which it is.

And yes, do please try the 2020.3 release candidate.  As Brian said, if no major issues are found with it, then it will be identical to 2020.3.  Whereas if we hear about a major issue the week after 2020.3 comes out, we'll either have to go through the beta / rc process for a .1 release, or wait until 2020.4.  Download from https://www.nvaccess.org/post/nvda-2020-3rc1/
