Re: firefox and the latest nvda not working?
I am using the 32 bit version.

The only issue I have is that in some pages like windows update history buttons don't always execute, and some links on some websites will double speak and will not press, but these are in games and I have to go back and forth with the arrows and tab to execute them. However while its a bit annoying I can still brouse well enough so its ok.

I'm not finding this addon, but am definitely interested in it. If you've got a url that would be great or maybe the dev could put it on the community addons page.

Re: IBM TTS is not working in NVDA
Mohamed
Hi Brian, the downloads are located in
/software/websphere/voicetoolkit/InstallShield/VT6.0TP/Languages/TTS/win/.
The ttsdata.jar files are just zip files with renamed extensions,
and they contain standard InstallShield installers that install an
unrestricted copy of ViaVoice TTS 6.7.3.2 that anything complying
with IBM's publicly documented API can use. They also exist,
although with fewer languages, in /sns/asi.

Hello,

First, I am assuming you mean that the PDF is tagged, but that the headers are not. I would expect that Column 1 and Row 1 are being considered as headings if no specific header is defined. However realize, that PDF can be interpreted by more than just Adobe Reader these days, so, it could even be that the reader you are using puts in implied headers. Jonathan

Re: IBM TTS is not working in NVDA
Dennis,
We're of precisely the same mind. I had private discussions with Eric Damery of Vispero about this site, and the now defunct group they had on Groups.io, a bit over a year ago. I was one who reported their group to Groups.io administration and they were shut down on Groups.io very shortly afterward. When you have software developers producing commercial software for a niche market (and screen readers define niche market) you are literally starving the people that have fed you by pirating or hacking/cracking that software. It's also theft, pure and simple. That site is a den of thieves, and has remained so, and they're proud of their thievery and present themselves as "doing a service for the worldwide blind community." Well, if what they're doing is a service, it's one I'd far rather do without. -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H1, Build 19043 I do not understand why some seek to separate a person from their actions.
