Search on minimize and maximize, as there are various ways to do this. That being said, the description for the F11 command is, in my opinion, misleading. Please how can I maximize or minimize my computer screen. I sent a screenshot some time ago to someone, and he said that the window apeared minimized. So, he couldn't see the screenshot. On the other hand, if the screen is maximized or minimized, how will I know as a blind computer user. Hope my questions are clear Thanks. Ibrahim.

First, the reason I am posting this is so that there is complete clarity as far as what the policy of the NVDA Group is, which I'll repeat here, verbatim, from an earlier message from our Group Owner, Nimer Jaber: There is no legal way to use IBM TTS, or Eloquence, unless it is bundled with a legally purchased product. The information is according to NV Access. Please, do not post any additional topic regarding Eloquence or IBM TTS unless we are discussing the paid add-ons. Anyone posting anything about IBM TTS or Eloquence illegally obtained, or anyone posting links to such will be placed on moderated status. Any 2nd posting attempt may very well result in banning from the group. I have received a private question which was entirely appropriate about my prior statement regarding the legality of this software in the topic, IBM TTS is not working in NVDA, in message #86267, dated July 15, 2021. Additional, and definitive, information about "right to use" the IBM/Viavoice/Eloquence TTS voices became available after my message, and that information clearly indicated that I was wrong in my initial assessment regarding the legality of obtaining and using IBM/Viavoice/Eloquence TTS voices in conjunction with the driver mentioned in that post. So consider this an official retraction of that entire post. When new information becomes available, my positions will change if indicated. Thus, all further discussion of the use of these voices outside commercially available software that includes them is not permitted in the NVDA Group. I’m not sure, As I said on a previous message my braille display was in the next room but still connected via Bluetooth to my laptop. Of course I realise that wi-fi is not the same as Bluetooth but proved the point when I went back to the room where the display was and also where my router is. I then connected the laptop via ethernet cable to the router and wi-fi was fine. When I removed the braille display from my devices on my laptop wi-fi worked fine. The display is a freedom scientific focus 14. What I haven’t tried yet is connecting the display via Bluetooth in close proximity to the laptop and seeing what happens then although I normally use the display on a desktop device in the other room. As I said it might have been my provider, virgin media “playing about or there maybe an issue with bluetooth on my laptop although my keyboard k380 works well. Thanks for your input. Hello Steve, On my laptop, connected to the mains supply with my braille display in the next room and left turned on, whenever I tried an internet radio connection or even connecting to outlook Microsoft edge took at least half a minute. However as I don’t use the braille display on my laptop I removed the focus 14 from the laptop and internet went back to practically normal. So, can’t think what happened. I can’t imagine that NVDA slows down Wi-Fi, even if it is searching for a Braille display, which is either serial or Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi.
What makes you say that NVDA is slowing down wi-fi?

Hello, For some reason nvda 21.4 slows down my wi-fi connection. This has only happened recently. I have now used jaws 2019 with no problem. Tried uninstalling nvda and re-installed but still the same problem. Any advice please. For what its worth nvda works reasonabley on ethernet connection. Kind regards, Dennis huckle.

Unless something's changed, Add-On Updater will check for updates to all installed add-ons whether they are enabled or disabled. But, the central location for checking whether any given "official" add-on has been made compatible with NVDA is the Add-Ons Compatibility Page. addon updates

Hi list, today two addons updated on NVDA I updated them but I’m waiting for winamp, skype and remote to update themselves. I removed the ones that didn’t work so how will I know these are updated. If I look on check for addon updates it will only show me the one I have installed right/ does anyone know when or if these others will update? Same with team talk. Sent from Mail for Windows 10

Hi, I hope this is ok to ask on here...
Lately, I've been getting notification sounds for all the emails on the forum and was curious if there is a way to make all the emails from this forum go to the other folder so I don't receive the notification? Tried opening an email and going in to more options and set the mail to go to other inbox and it would only set the personal email of the sender to the other inbox and not the whole forum. I hope I'm clear in what I'm trying to accomplish. BTW this is for the outlook app on ios. Thank you for any tips on this.

Two things.
I looked at the incompatibility matter in the NVDA Manage Addons section. There I read that IBMTTS 2021.1 is required. As it is, I could not as yet locate this version.
The other thing I am curious about, approximately what would Eloquence cost?
