I use this plugin.

Really Simple SSL

You don't need to direct anything its going to do it for you.

Your previder does need an updated cert and you have to be able to manually or automatically be able to keep that updated but as far as I understand it you just plug and play.

I have certainly had no issues with that plugin.

I am trying to do 301 redirects to support HTTPS on my WordPress site. A guide I came across suggests using the Better Search Replace plugin to edit the URLs in the database tables from HTTP to HTTPS. However, the plugin has an unconventional list box with the tables in it and it says to control click on Windows to select multiple tables.

Is there any way to do this with NVDA, or is this just an inaccessible list box element and I need to find some other obscure way no doubt.

Good morning,

As I mentioned above, the NVDA menus are not reading when I use the NVDA+N command. I tried exiting and restarting nVDA, but they still don’t read. My computer has been in sleep mode for a few days, and I have been switching back and forth  between NVDA and JAWS. Maybe that has something to do with it? I’m running Windows 10 on an Asus laptop, nothing fancy. Any input will be appreciated.

While I can click through on that link and see the document in the web browser, it's also clear to me based on both the way it's "visually veiled" as well as having received the message that I am not authorized to download or print the file that what I'm seeing is not accessible to a screen reader.  This is further confirmed by a "Read-Only" message when I try to click into the document, and the fact that if I use the more options button, find function, find itself cannot find the text I can clearly see is part of this document.

The issue likely lies in the security layers used for this document if you aren't a part of "the in group" that created it.

This used to work as the person used sway, but now I clicked on this link (not sure if you have to be logged in to view this or not) and I cannot read the document. I tried this in chrome, firefox and brave and I have to use OCR to read the thing.  I dismissed all the alerts and I see a 90 percent zoom. Did the creator brake something, or did nvda brake something, or did I brake something? Lol. I’ll probably XPost this to the office group in case this is a web office issue as well.

          See, I *told* you it would (or at least could) be stunning and easy (or at least easier than your dread was predicting - and who among us hasn't been there!).

           Microsoft has scads of documentation dedicated to using its various office suite programs with a screen reader.  The results of this search on DuckDuckGo turn up several MS-issued resources right at the very top of the list, at least it does for me.

Hi, should everyone do this? I just checked my cmd properties and the legacy mode was unchecked...
