The functionality is not built into nvda but the golden cursor lets you do hot spots I have used it on un labled buttons for a scanner etc but uses the elements list to get to those areas. It is like put the mouse on the area, label it then bring it up in a list in the program I think it is.
There is also another add on that is been reviewed or updated called object enhancer which I have in my drop box at https://www.dropbox.com/s/dqnooxmas5utw70/objEnhancer_2019.2beta1_Gen.nvda-addon?dl=0
There is english documentation that tells you how to use it. The guy that made it does not want to take it further?

when navigating microsoft's store NVDA on my pc doesn't switch to vertual cursor just as I remember it doing before. Am I imagining things or there indeed should be a vertual window when microsoft store is navigated? Windows 11 and latest beta of NVDA.

Is there a way how to label such buttons using nvda? Jaws has this functionality for sure.

I was about to say we were aware of it the issue, but just looking again It all seems to be back again now. Either way, we'll keep an eye on it. Also, for the update issue, if it wasn't the glitch in the site, and you are getting that error regularly when checking for updates. Please download NVDA 2021.3 beta 2 from: https://www.nvaccess.org/post/nvda-2021-3beta2/ - you can install it or just choose "continue", and then either way, go to the help menu and check for updates - that should fix the issue. This affects built in keyboards as well and directly connected ones.
I don’t know what causes it but it has something to do with NVDA and was
referred to years ago when JAWS had the problem as sticky keys. I don’t
use JAWS now and I don’t know if it ever happens.

When this happens, all keys get stuck. I know we’ve talked about this before. It does not matter if it is a wired keyboard or a laptop keyboard. Iv’e tested with both over the years this has been happening.

I think this is somehow as software issue. Can there be a test to see if the keyboard hook gets stuck for what ever reason? This tends to happen sometimes if the computer is busy, or at any random time. I can’t reliably Reproduce this all the time but when it does happen, it’s annoying.

Briefly though, if you mean how does it make a Python GUI coding environment accessible, I don't think it does. I'm pretty sure it was written in a text editor like Notepad. VS Code is accessible and has a Python mode though.
