Moderator's Note (and speaking in the role):  Exactly.

Not only that, but while this list definitely uses English as its lingua franca the NVDA community worldwide does not in many venues, and there are a number of participants here who are multilingual.

While Group Administration very strongly encourages the use of English here, simply because to do otherwise means messages will not get "much traction," it is not a requirement nor codified in the group rules.

So, let me make this clear:  Posts of the condescending, "Speak English, why dontcha?!," type to those who either speak another language as their first language or who offer things in English, but with an accent reflective of their native tongue, will NOT be tolerated.

Let's not go there again.  I wish we'd never gone there to begin with.

I have experienced identical behaviour but confusingly not on all edit fields – only some.

So for example  I can type and receive appropriate feedback on the Start Page search edit  as well as  Duck Duck go

But I have definitely also encountered the behaviour you describe.

The next time I encounter this I will report back the site.

Hi.  I'll try to isolate if there is an add-on behind it.  I get typing echo when I type in the Google edit fields, but no spoken feedback when I navigate with the ARROW KEYS in the event that I made a typo that I want to correct.  That's what led me to believe that the cursor wasn't moving.  I tried navigating within another application's edit field to isolate the issue to Google products before I posted the original message.

Please note that this add-on is primarily intended for ordinary photos, and not for pictures with a code.
If the add-on solves the captcha, it's just a random happy coincidence.
This is also a robot, the captcha also protects against robots.
There are no guarantees.
To solve the captcha specifically, there is another add-on, it is also, like this, from a Russian developer,
it sends a captcha to a special service
where people manually enter a captcha for about one cent.

Re: NVDA add-on CloudVision

I am very glad that it works for someone. A lot of people said that it didn't work, and many more were on the alpha version, there were a lot of errors. I was angry then, upset, didn't know what to do. I am happy that you have succeeded.

Re: NVDA add-on CloudVision

I don't want to make a PDF, it will take 40 minutes or more for large documents. This is in the Telegram bot @visiontest1bot has support PDF files.
Regarding SVG and others, please give me a utility for Linux, for Ubuntu, to convert all sorts of DJVU, SVG, TIF, BMP, a lot of them, into PNG format. If there is one, then it's easy.

Re: NVDA add-on CloudVision

juergenkohler23@...

Hello alexey,

I have a request regarding the QR code support. Unfortunately CloudVision does not read QR codes in .svg, .pdf and .eps formats. It would be nice if CloudVision could be updated to support these formats as well. In general, it would be nice if CloudVision could also analyse .pdf documents.

Many thanks and best regards

Re: NVDA add-on CloudVision

juergenkohler23@...

Hello alexey,

the current CloudVision version 3.0.0.2 works wonderfully! Thank you very much for this addon!

@harshad solanki:
You simply install the CloudVision 3.0.0.2 addon, then in Explorer you go to an image file and press the NVDA+Ctrl+I keys, after which you get an acoustic message that the image is being analysed and the result of the analysis is announced. If you press NVDA+Ctrl+I twice, a window opens with the result of the image analysis, which you can then copy to the clipboard, for example, to process the results further.

With best regards

This link in this particular email did work using the step given in another email to get it to the beginning of the file.

I wish I could have heard the screen reader better to understand what was taking place.  It sounds like a great program but I could not understand it step by step. I hope eventually we can get a step by step for this program. Is it already part of the ad-on updater or does it have to be downloaded  separately. Sorry for so many questions but I am a step-by-step learner as some of you here know who have helped me in the past.

This link to the video seems to start it at the beginning:  https://youtu.be/AqoSBK5S3-E

And, contrary to one assertion, the video is in English.  Admittedly with an accent, but I've had to wrap my head around many accents over the course of my life.

Hi thanks a lot for understanding. I am not a native English speaker so my English is not so good. I am still struggling to improve my English pronunciation. Hope I could improve it soon☺

Regarding the video problem, I just copied the video url from the YouTube so it started from the same place where I paused the video. anyway the link has been updated.

English than I could speak whatever his native language is. I suspect
that's true of most native English speakers as well. These folks have
huge hurdles to overcome, & the fact that they're doing it speaks
multiple multiple volumes as to their strenght & perseverance. All I
can do is applaud & bow in respect.

The weird thing is that the video doesn't start till about 5min in. I
had to go to the slider, press ctrl home, & that brought me to the
beginning of the video. I've never seen a video do that before, & I'm
mystified as to why it would.

Hello Brian and all.

For me, I can understand the video. If you like, I can create a little audio
file on how to do the same thing as well. It might be a while before I get
to it where I can create a file. Most likely, I can create it tomorrow. I
believe that the link to download the ad on is bit.ly/capchasolver

Apparently not.
