The feature you are describing has been removed from Dropbox. Now,
it displays as file explorer with no choice in the program to use
the other display. If that is the problem the person is having,
your instructions should help but since Dropbox automatically
updates the person well may not have that feature any longer.

But I'd like to know what problem the person is having with Dropbox. I can still use it to share files in exactly the same way as I did before. Gene

I know the subject is not dropbox, but I will make 1 comment. I current.y have a free 100gig dropbox account which I got by buying a new hp pc last fall. If I share files that are 1 or 2 hundred megabytes, no problem, but if I start sharing files of 3 or 4 gig to several people, that free account is usually frozen in less than a day and stays frozen for a day or 2. That’s a free account I’ M talking about.

I think I need to remove it and reinstall it now that I have your reassurance that it is still usable. I tried WeTransfer and found it excellent and fully accessible. Task bar disappears after closing portable nvda
farhan israk
I am using windows 10 21h2 and nvda 2021.3.5. I have noticed a strange issue. Suppose I have turned on portable copy to check that this copy is working properly or not after creating portable copy. I am going to visit my uncle's house tomorrow. So, I created a portable copy. If I exit the portable copy after confirming everything is working and turn on the standard or normal copy, the taskbar disappears. I neither can focus the task bar pressing windows + t nor pressing tab several times after focusing desktop. However, I have not verified by a sighted person. So, I cannot say strongly that it really disappears or nvda cannot focus on it. I have to restart windows explorer from the task manager to bring it back. I have noticed this strange issue two times.

Re: Reading and editing footers in Word with NVDA
Quentin Christensen
I just tested on: Windows 10 (64-bit) Version: 21H2 (2009), Build: 19044.1645 Office 365 (64-bit) Version: 16.0.15128.20140 And using either NVDA 2021.3.5, or NVDA 2022.1Beta4, everything works as expected with UIA enabled (2021.3.5) or set to "Always" (2022.1beta4). I can add or edit footers and read the text. Which build of Office and version of NVDA are you using? Kind regards Quentin.

Thanks Tyler, the settings app indeed improves on locating opened apps. Unfortunately, they forgot to implement page up/down for changing volume by larger chunks. I will try EarTrumpet again tomorrow.

1. The new Windows volume mixer. Get to it through settings or by typing ms-settings:apps-volume into the Run dialog.

2. EarTrumpet. Start it up, it shows up in the system tray. Hit enter on it, tab, arrow up/down through your apps, left/right adjusts, m mutes.
