Thanks your work but, Weather plus ad-on doesn't need to zipcode list. You can search Your citi from the edit box in the ad-on. Write Your citi and pres the test button.

Hi Andrea and Michael,

These lists are created by each user of Weather Plus, and then are customized.
The list increases as by adding every time the city of your interest...
I don't think that interests you my italian cities list, but if you want I can send it in private :)
You can then import the city from the button "Import new cities..." and selecting the file with the extension*.zipcodes.

Re: How to enable Java Access Bridge?

Chris Mullins

Hi
There is a spurious problem with JAB in that the installer sometimes doesn't copy a particular dll to the correct folder. As you are probably aware, you should install 32 and 64 bit Java versions on a 64-bit system and ensure the following dll's are in the specified folders to ensure JAB will work properly with NVDA and Java Control Center.

WindowsAccessBridge-32.dll should reside in Windows\SysWow64 folder WindowsAccessBridge-64.dll should reside in Windows\System32 folder

It tends to be the 32 bit dll that goes missing, which is what NVDA uses but it's best to check both. If it's not in the correct place, copy it from Program Files x86\Java\Bin to the folder specified above, similarly on the 64 bit side if that dll is missing.

Cheers
Chris

Subject: [nvda] How to enable Java Access Bridge?

Hi NVDA comunity,
I am using latest Next Version of NVDA screen reader and Windows 7 64bits.
I installed latest JRE for 64 bits. NVDA can not detect Java Access Bridge.
I activated Java Access Bridge:
1. I pressed Windows+U and select "Use computer without screen"; 2. E checked "enable java access bridge" checkbox; 3. I pressed NVDA+F1 to view log and Java Access Bridge.

It is a NVDA issue or a Java Access Bridge issue?
Thanks.
Best regards,

Accessible ERP Systems?

Hello,
I am wondering if anyone knows of any Enterprise resource planning Systems that are usable with NVDA?
I have looked at around 10 and only found one that was usable and it was not that functional.
I would like to know what other people have found?
Thanks,

Re: How to enable Java Access Bridge?

Well have you restarted nvda?
even if java is installed and the access bridge is activated that doesn't mean its active for the current session, quit out of nvda or even better reboot then it will stay active.
Every time you update you will loose access till you restart your reader of choice then its detected.

Hi Brian,

Ik is a Windows 7 workstation that's be linked with a Windows Server 2012R2.
That's the own where I have problems.

It is not possible to install a copy of NVDA. The IT Manager here don't want to install anything, he just want to use Portable software, if possible.

I am talking about all NVDA Keystrokes. I have access to the keyboard and all works, only the NVDA Keystrokes (shortcuts) don't work.

I have occasionally come across keys pressed at once limits on some older laptop keyboards, but not in normal use with portable versions, though of course there are some admin screens it will not read. Does an installed copy work?
