Ah, okay.

In that case how about https://weather.codes/italy

Just change the name of country at the end (always in lower case, and
hyphenated if it's something like https://weather.codes/new-zealand/ ) and you
can get a list of all cities which have codes in that country.

I'm not sure whether there's a list of all the countries covered by this
system, though.

Hello!

From general software, you can use FineReader or OmniPage.
The results are good and the price is very affordable.

From specialized software, you can try Kurzweil 1000 or Openbook.
Both are very good in terms of usability and accuracy. The price is too high
for an OCR package.

Thanks for your reply Brian. Do you mean NVDA on a flash dress be? I don't have a portable version of the previous version so can't test this.

I can confirm that it seems to have kicked in this afternoon though. I can't explain it but it seems to have started working some time, like a few hours, after a refresh to default factory settings.

Hopefully it'll continue to work normally.

Hi all

I have been using NVDA for years. I use a Windows 7 machine with current Firefox and have updated to NVDA 2016.3. It no longer works for me.

When I start NVDA I hear the piano arpeggio as usual, and the page title is read. After that nothing else is read. For example:

* Hitting the "H" key reads "H" rather than navigating to the first page heading

* Tabbing through the page moves focus but nothing is announced

I am not sure if this is a bug with NVDA, Firefox or my computer audio settings, but suspect it's an NVDA issue.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Suggestions?

Hi,
First, locate the hash for that commit, then pull in latest changes (after
checking next first) and do:
git log commitHash...head
You should also do:
git submodule sync
git submodule update
The last two are required as many submodules have changed.
Note that you'll get commit messages in reverse order.
A lot has changed in the past five months, including:
* NVDA versions 2016.2.x and 2016.3 released.
* Fixes and workarounds for various applications and Windows versions
(you'll find my work under Windows 10 commits).
* Support for new braille displays.
* Support for new apps.
* Ability to disable individual add-ons without uninstalling them (one of my
favorite features to implement).
* Support for Edge-based controls and Mail app in Windows 10 version 1607.
* A feature or two that'll fundamentally change how people think about NVDA
(one of them is a fitting event for closing NVDA's tenth anniversary
celebrations, and this feature is about to land on next branch, so stay
tuned).
In case of the last one, I'll make an announcement to this forum and others,
as it requires extensive testing and NV Access and other developers
(including I) would like to receive feedback.
Cheers,
Joseph
