Hi, David,
I agree that it's a good idea to have at least 2 browser. I've played youtube videos in chrome and it does work great.

I tried the liev stream and interacting with the Flash player, but browser crashed.
The web dev will have to revert to previous player or move away from Flash to HTML5 <video>.

A few things that are really nice with Chrome:
Flash is built-in and updates automatically
If signed in: extensions, bookmarks, history, etc. are synchronized to all other Chrome where you're signed

Try contacting the local website by email. They should have a contact page. Tell them what screen-reader you use.

Your local station is using an inaccessible Flash control or Flash player, I'm not sure just what. I think they switched to an inaccessible Flash player. You might be able to get the site to play

Generalizing from one site is not valid. There are sites where I can do something with Chrome that I can't with firefox. And the reverse is also true.

Re: More on accessibility in Supatra PDF
I agree. By telling them more about the issue, there is a higher chance of improved accessibility in future versions and if so, that means good news to everyone.
