I have a feeling though that if you save as word 97, it always opens in Jarte.
Jarte I think is based on the xp version of Wordpad, so it seems to be unaware of some of the ways files are saved hence

For BIOS you can reset the BIOS/UEFI to clear the password (manual for your MotherBoard should have guidance) but then may have some OS reconfiguration to do.

Is it possible to use this with NVDA? I used the ad-on but it gave me a hardware error. (I'm not planning on using it regularly, but it's sort of neat for nostalgia's sake.)
