That's because the installer didn't come with the extra bloat until the past couple of years. It used to be fairly clean. Now it can be a bit of a nightmare if you're not careful.

Re: revo alternative?
there is. It is a series of check boxes in the main window, but I use Pure N utilities strictly now because it is a milion times easier to use. I need to update my BCU uninstaller again though

Re: revo alternative?
I had to use a lot of tweaking of the options to make it work but I did download Pure in utilities the other day and absolutely love it. The last update was a while ago though! I hope it does not

Re: NVDA with Edge browser
I use the built in Administrative Tools – Disk Cleanup utility. It removed most files, and removes upgrade files too.

Yeah but if they are that old then I agree.
I was working with ccleaner and a few apps, suddenly I get messages after updating windows that they will not work because they are to old.
If you are still

Re: how to make a web site more responsive
I use ublock, and noscript for addbock, better privacy for flash cookies etc.
In addition I use privacy badger which is supposed to manage sites that care about you though who knows how that works,

Re: new to windows, need help with software selections
You know what I agree with you.
I have friends that use linux saying that windows has always sucked and that linux is better.
Linux accessibility is total crap and those that exist to make it better

That depends what you call an issue of course.
Its often hard when you have the program makers saying they have no issuees and the screenreader maker saying oh yes you have of course.

Hi Brian,
SPSS is an ancient and proprietary research tool used in academic disciplines, particularly socialwork in my experience. It should probably just die and be replaced by something more
