for a lap top.

NVDA speaks when I am not trying to view the menus. On all other pc's when I
press the down arrow it works great but, on this machine it doesn't speak
when we try to arrow trough the menus in

if you do a say all use the nvda key + down arrow key it will read the
whole message and you will not hear blank lines where they are. you only
hear them if you do it a line at a time by

Are you reading messages by down arrowing through them? That's really cumbersome and inefficient.. I know of no skip blank lines feature in NVDA. If you use read to end, you won't hear blank lines

bird as well as in mozilla fire fox.

Lates version of NVDA works with no problem. The only thing that drives me crazy is that deleting a message, doesn't truely delete the message. It archives it and there is no way to change

Hotkeys are indeed excellent. One of the first thing I look for in a program is hotkeys. In fact, some have so many that it’s hard to memorise all of them. But at least they’re there!
