Re: NVDA sluggish in task manager and resource monitor
For interest's sake, or if it makes any difference, if I switch over to a microsoft voice, under NVDA using the SAPI 5 synthesizer, then it's always somewhat sluggish/laggy, in both

Re: Disabling png attachments in Mail app for windows 10
Tea,
And I doubt you'll have the outcome you hope for. People, lots of people, wish to be able to attach PNG files just like they do JPG, GIF, and a multitude of others.
I don't

Hi, Brian,
I wrote about this issue to Microsoft using Feedback hub app, I didn't receive any comments on it, but hope they will enable this option in the next version of win10.

It's your choice but you will be more limited in many situations if you follow that policy.

Re: NVDA sluggish in task manager and resource monitor
If I hit ctrl+shift+escape right now on my win10 64 bit creators version, running current NVDA next snapshot, it works fine in the task manager, is just as responsive as anywhere else, etc.

I sometimes think this tends to happen on laptops due to their slower cpus to save power when things get busy. the UIA interface seems slow on many machines and we have no way to know if narrator is

Re: Disabling png attachments in Mail app for windows 10
Mostly you find them as sig files on emails so it looks reallycuel to the sighted, but I just ignore them, if a person wants to be flash its up to them.
The worst things I've been encountering lately

I think it means pretty nasty graphics, but then I have a sense of humour!

Re: VLC player app and W10
argh, don't use the app store version, to be honest its quirky.
The main program downloaded as before was always much more well behaved.
I cannot check this on 10 till I get a new

If it was originally in Daisy, I'd not be so confident of that one myself.

Re: Problems with Adobe Acrobat Reader
Don't you get asked if you want to open just the current page or all pages? The latter takes a long time on big documents.
I have to say though that there seem to be so many very poorly made pdf files

Re: NVDA sluggish in task manager and resource monitor
Hello
I can confirm Felix's issue. I also find Task Manager so sluggish with NVDA that I first close NVDA and fire up Narrator when it is necessary to use Task Manager.
The same behaviour is true

on several Win 10 machines I find that NVDA gets very sluggish when task manager or resource monitor has focus. At first I thought it was because the machines were slow anyway at that time,
