It does indeed claim the control shift b hides or unhides the bookmarks bar, but that doesn't set focus to said bookmarks bar, for that, you either need to use control-f6, or

Re: new messages keep going to the bottom in thunderbird
I think ascending is the default. It can't hurt to try if this doesn't work.

Yes, I did press enter on it to take affect. This happens on all the folders.

Re: reading status bar
Oh! There's your problem! Don't use the end key on the numpad. You need to be using the end key on the 6pack.

If one thing doesn't work, try the other. Try ascending. The worst that can happen is nothing.

did you press the enter key on it for it to take affect?
A sending is going up where descending is going down. from newest to oldest and the other is the other way.
Is it only on the one folder or

Hi Don,
You can mention ideas here for discussion. The best place to ensure they are recorded, is the GitHub page. You do need to have a GitHub account, which is free and from memory only requires

Re: Issue with NVDA 2017.1, and Outlook 2016
The problem I presented some days ago is very similar to Julia’s. It is only with one folder. When I reset that folder view (performed for me by a sighted person and with NVDA turned off), it works

Re: NVDA Issues with Outlook 2016
I only have the one left and it can’t be disabled.
I run in safe mode and the problem doesn’t exist.
If I have that single plugin the errors happen.
Thanks,
Sam

Re: new messages keep going to the bottom in thunderbird
I've done that twice already. HHere are the steps I took.
1. I went to the view menu with alt V.
2. I arrowed down to "date" and it was checked.
3. I then arrowed down to "descending" and hit

making suggestions for future NVDA
How can we as NVDA users make suggestions regarding the future development of NVDA?
I would like to suggest adding a key label feature to NVDA similar to the function in Window Eyes.
Thanks

Hi Sam,
Then you will have to do things the hard way and disable the rest of them one at a time and see which solves the problem.
