Yes, I do use Omnipage or Fine reader as well.
But I though it is strange that why the text can be read on ipad but not on my windows.
If the text is to be extracted through OCR, it is definitely that

me neither, may be the publisher has a sale link. Are there more than 167 pages to this book? It looks like you can navigate page by page by putting page numbers in the edit box.

ctrl+pageUp and pageDown work, but, you will generally then need to use ctrl+home to jump back to top of next/previous page if you were at the end of the prior page, before then initiating reading
