i wish that if you use python 3 for compiling nvda, use version 3.4 to
support xp without problem.

i tested jaws with my windows xp many years ago and someone told that
he tested on windows seven.
jaws does not stop reading in screen saver activated.i am not sure is
it a bug in nvda or windows or

Yes I agree, but as has been said, people do not agree on what should be said or not said, so I think it can add complexity if you attempt to suit all people.

One has also to be careful as some xp machines run on processors with no sse2 support, ie the amd Athlons etc. Even Ccleaner has screwed up on this one recently. It just crases in a most messy

Its the crashing all the time that annoyed me mostly.
The rest is only important if you intend using it as a back up program to the cloud.

I get that problem as well. So far three machines downdated, two more to go. Buth playing silly wotsits at present with old version won't run messages. Need to do a massive purge to stop it seeing

Yes what extras will a newer version of resource monitor to realistic xp installations though? I suspect not much as many are running on core duo laptops or older single core desktops like most of the

100 percent disagree. screen readers are more than just screen readers these days. They replace a display for one thing, and if they were just screen readers, then we wouldn't have issues with

It's not a bug, because a screen reader is what it is, a screen
reader. If a screen saver is active, then a sighted user would not be
able to tell what's on screen either. Notice that say all stops

Nope, still consider it a bug. There are routines one can call to tell the computer you're doing something, and there's no reason why jaws et al can't put said calls into the screen reader
