I do like the new icon look. It is more similar to other apps and fits in Windows 10.

The original icon was dark grey, which worked well on Windows XP which had a light taskbar / system tray. Newer windows versions have moved to a darker taskbar / system tray making the icon very low

What does the nvda image look like.
It doesn't matter to us, but if it is possible to invest in this, if we do have a visual logo for nvaccess maybe that should be the icon seen if we can get it at

Hi Ron,
you do not need an addon to group messages by topic, TB can do that by default. I use it in German, so I can't tell you where exactly you will find the option. Translated in English you find

Re: NVDA In-Process
The new icon is what appears visually in the system tray when NVDA is running, and what appears on the desktop or start menu if you have a shortcut to the program there. It doesn't change anything

This is a difficult one. In a way you need different behaviour in different circumstances and unless you can set up something in a profile so that particular software will set reading as you require

Re: about reading numbers in nvda 2017.2 and before: nvda developers and experts please help me.
You could get NVDA to read numbers how you want using a dictionary rule which uses regex. I think someone did it on this list previously. You would need to do it for each type of number, eg one
