Re: windows 10 app esentials no longer in my preferences in my nvda after the latest update
Hi,
If the add-ons manager says the version of this add-on is some sort of dev, then you are not alone in this situation. I will be rolling out an emergency hotfix that will correct the root cause.

Hello,
I’d say we should discuss some basics here for the benefit of many on this forum who wants to contribute code to NVDA.
First things first: before people learn the intricacies of NVDA source

Groups.io allows a user to exercise exquisite control over the e-mail messages they receive for a group, but you do have to use the web interface to do so.
Explained, in step-by-step detail on this

Hi Joseph and Tony,
I apologize for the misleading post earlier. I have no experience with Python and very limited coding experience with HTML.
By way of background, I have used NVDA intermitently

Re: Win10 Essentials: NO sounds or Suggestions
That was odd. I also had thought I was running the stable version. I
think I will deactivate the automatic check for update option for now.
Thanks Gene

is there a problem? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I know that list traffic is heavy, but I never know when a message will be just the gem I'm needing at the time.

I would suggest that those proposing a web forum use the one we already have at Groups.io. It's the only way I interact with the groups, all of them, that I participate on here.

Re: Suggestion: Switch from Email List to a Forum
I agree.
While changing the list to a forum is an interesting idea, you may be creating more problems than it is worth.
I think your suggestions make sense.
There are many who still use e-mail.

Emergency announcement: Bitbucket add-on localization and files repository is gone, restoring from backup
Dear NVDA community,
For immediate announcement: earlier today someone who apparently had access to the Bitbucket copy of various add-on team repos has somehow deleted a bunch of repositories,

Running the latest next build of NVDA on a Win 10 64 bit system.
Have audio ducking set to No ducking yet ducking seems to be active. No such issue before this build.
