55 works well in all versions for me, only 56 has the focus at start up issue from my point of view.

Maybe files have been unregistered by the program but I'd be worried that files have been removed. Does the program quaranteen files or just remove them?
Also, does the person have system restore

I believe you could do this using task scheduler.
Never done this exact thing but you can make .executibles run as admin so don't see why a batch file would be that much harder.

on my full qwerty keyboard it is the nought down the bottom.
The easiest and quickest way to find out what keys are what is to turn on input help it is the nvda key + 1 on the main qwerty

Hi, went to about firefox and it says 55.02 32 bit I hope this helps in some way but as I have said using the stable version of nvda it works perfectly well.

What editor do you use? you should use something which can perform indent for you, and the options remove a lot of time. I cannot remember the last time I counted spaces (Tip: with the indent feature

but the pitch change should work with at least some of the synthesizers mentioned. If you can't get it to work, beep when a capital letter is typed may be a good option. I haven't played with it but

Sure, it's possible to run a batch file as an administrator. Just open a command prompt with the run as administrator option, then run your batch file, and poof, all done.
