Oh, okay. Why does the same anomaly show up when I use UK Grade 2 for the output table, though? I thought emdash in that system was two hyphens next to each other.

For now, just set punctuation to none, at least when reading e-mail. I don't know if you can do this in a profile but I never hear such punctuation. In addition, why not just stop reading after the

yes google books is accessable however when downloading a book you will need to also get adobe digital additions to process the shortcut file.

I have not been using NVDA that long, but I am wondering if there is a way to set it up where it will say only 2 = as opposed to a whole line of them that might be able to help if you could just say
