Strange issue for xp users with last working versions
I don't know if anyone else has this, but I left the last supported master update installed on some machines, but now even if running 2017.3 on those machines, NVDA plays the shut down sound twice on

I would heartily advise trying Firefox or Chrome as well. You can have them all on the system with no issues.
I gave up on chrome myself but just because I could not get my brain around the way to use

I have been tusing LibreOffice for some time. The advantage is that it can save documents as docx-documents. But when you open the documents my computer usually freeses.

No, that isn't what is being said. What is being said is that there are certain file types, and examples are given, that are notorious for being used as malware. They are taking reasonable measures

Or in other words adobe do not want any bad publicity or law suits so to be on the safe side we block such pdf’s and refer you to the original author to sort it out as adobe will not touch this pdf

I was using version 5.2.7.0, but to answer the question about issues in LibreOffice, upgraded to 5.4.2.2.
