i have internet explorer 8 which is the last version that works on xp.
but unfortunately the performance of nvda is very slow and i cant open
many websites with it.

The point is that the way outlook 2003 uses mshtml is not the same as ie 11 does of course. That is why the outlook express I use has to have some patch files to still run on 7 and
