We don't know if NVDA is crashing. Just because speech stops doesn't mean the screen-reader is crashing. The speech synthesizer could be crashing as well. Would such an event be in the log? What

I think they had to get a hold of the developer for the changes. some thing to do with code changes.
You can also use the physical mouse as well.

NVDA crashing
Running NVDA 2017-3 on a Win 10 64 bit Fall Creator edition laptop.
On what seems to be a random thing on numerous occasions when I hit the windows key to open up the start menu NVDA simply goes away.

I don't use narrator, but in my experience, NVDA works pretty well with this release. I can search for content, preview it, and buy just fine. I can also navigate Apple music, so that's no problem
