My asus transformer book t100 with an Intel atom processor loads things about twice as quick even with the low end ssd it has in it. I have a MacBook pro with a core i5 in it and a mechanical hard

Well I have used amd video hardware for ages, right now amd switched chipsets putting a lot of older cards such as mine and one in the other system I have out of business.

When you go back and read what was said it sounds like he was not in focus mode in the edit box. I guess that is why i like hearing the words spoken instead of the sounds.

Experienced users may prefer it more but default settings should be set for those new to browsing or who are unknowledgeable. Experienced and knowledgeable users will be far more likely to find out

You can disable automatic mode changing in the browse mode settings - press NVDA+control+b and make sure "Automatic focus mode for focus changes" and "automatic focus mode for caret movement" are both

Are you in forms mode? If not, you are selecting the entire web page. Is this more confusion caused by the automatic switching feature? If so, it's one more example of why this feature should be

In that type of case i usually just use the shift key along with the right arrow key if it is in front of the work then press the delete key.
Select all will select the whole page not that edit

Running Win 10 and the latest 2017-4 RC3. When focused on a edit box that has 5 characters in it I do a select all to delete and change the entry. But instead of NVDA saying 5 characters selected it

If you change it your co-ordinates change.
