I got the impressing it was RCs in this series actually.
I have certainly noticed some strangenesses in Espeak on recent snapshots since the last two updates of espeak NG, none for the better

Your subject line refers to the new RC version.
Is this problem something new in the latest RC version and did not exist in
earlier (RC or otherwise) versions, or does the same problem also exist in

If you are talking about Espeak then there is supposed to be an Espeak mail list and a section on the github site for that. One thing you might try is other synths for the languages you are talking

This does sound like ESpeak issues and would need to be fixed by
ESpeak. You can make a new issue at

Years ago I think that the AMD processors had heat issues but I think that is no longer a problem. I think AMD processors are as good as Intel and usually cost much less.

Having not bought a laptop for several years I am now noticing that in a lot of the choices in the stores that the battery is no longer removable or as they call it the battery is integrated.

Re: Question about Excel
I was pretty sure it was format, but thank you for clarifying.
For some reason, NVDA wasn't focusing very well in the ribbon. After restarting NVDA about 3 times, it finally started cooperating

Re: Question about Excel
You don't have to use object navigation in ribbons. Ribbons are, in essence, menus that you tab through. I say in essence because that is an oversimplification but that's the essence of what ribbons

Hi!
As someone who is not a techy and has never yet used an SSD drive, I can think of one drawback of those drives, namely their smaller capacity. It’s all very well to say that we could keep big
