Re: Navigating amongst controls on the main screen in Webinaria
Pranav,
Windows own audio settings? As in, change the input channel it listens to?
Sorry can't be of more help, but, really just used it for simple little tests. Virtual recorder does, alternatively

Re: Fillable PDF Forms & NVDA
The message states that tabbing doesn't work. If tabbing doesn't work, it is very unlikely that numpad 5 or, what is actually the correct key, numpad 8, will work. Numpad 8 is the read current line

Re: duplicate messages
It may correct itself. It may happen on any list and it may then stop. I don't know the technical reasons that may cause such a problem.

Re: NVDA and a free office
I don't consider such minor inconveniences to be meaningful. If you have to issue an extra keystroke and that's all, that is a minor work around and doesn't indicate how the program performs overall

Hi, Brian,
I had a similar situation with a survey that I filled out for Microsoft. For some strange reason, NVDA didn't see all the filds so I used system access to go and it worked perfectly. This

Re: Fillable PDF Forms & NVDA
NVDA+NumPad 5 gets me what sounds like document information. If I jump out and them back into the First Name field and hit NVDA+NumPad 5 it says, "Edit focus, blank" and if I switch to browse mode

Re: Built NVDA from source
Yeah surprisingly it was not hard. Flummoxed if you have VS 2015 community as it and windows SDK 7.1a SDK don't play at all nice with each other, so I removed it and installed VS 2015 express, I don't

Fillable PDF Forms & NVDA
I could be completely confused, misremembering something, or, well, something else, but I could swear that I remember there being an NVDA command that one could use to get the name of the field you've

Built NVDA from source
So yeah, I did it, wasn't particularly hard, considering other projects that I've built from the past, but still, kinda cool that I pulled it off at a ll, had to fiddle around and remove VS 2015

Cindy,
Can you be more specific with regard to which messages and topics? I had been seeing quite a few on this group, and started a thread dedicated to some of the reasons they might be

The F6 and F10 keys are rather helpful in both LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice, suggest a close read of these

If this can’t be fixed, I’ll

Re: NVDA and a free office
Hi,
I actually like open office much better. I tried libre office and found that I had to alt tab to get to the place where you choose what you want like a spread sheet or a text document.

Hi Jacob,
It offers that setting but I am unable to navigate to it. The hot keys will help but I want to change the microphone that it is going to use.
