Hi Chris,
Very good point! I didn't mean to make it confusing; in fact, I was trying to make what was a complicated answer a bit simpler. Depending on your setup, the exact key to adjust the current

It would create clutter for no advantage. I'm not Brian but if he wanted a response from others, he would ask. He is testing his receipt of mail, not whether his messages are reaching the list.

Re: nvda volume
And if you set the caps lock to be an NVDA key, no other changes will be made to which keys are NVDA keys. You can make that change and you will then have both inserts and caps lock set as modifiers.

Re: remote 2.0 issue
Hi
I am wondering if it is the synth that he is using? Does it come through if he uses e speak or another synth package.
Is this the first time you have used the remote add on? as one pc with nvda

Re: An unusual but potentially very useful idea about sounds
Hi,
I’m sure Gene will correct me if I’m wrong, but my interpretation of Gene’s message is that, although the sounds heard came directly from the computer, NVDA could utilise a similar system

I’d like to add my 2 cents here to nvda.
I’m in the u.s and on a limited income, so I could never afford jaws or window eyes. I appreciate this screen reader nvda and I do donate whenever I can

Yeah, this is really cool. I think it’s some kind of radio interference. I get a bit of this in my own headphones, and I’d like to get some shielding so it doesn’t happen, mostly because it’s

Yes, but no. You can go to, well I dunno now, and buy a dynamic phone patch and amp and plug that in, and make yoru own gismo. I had a friend who did this and I borrowed it to diag a bad drive once.

The old NVDA won't start after an update problem again
I am posting this here as I originally started an issue on Github about it and wondered now if anyone else had seen the same thing.
