May I suggest Fubar 2000? I've never used it, so I can't tell you how it works. Someone else would have to tell you how well it works with JAWS, NVDA.

Re: What do we like for a media player besides Winamp?
Yeah....I think a big reason I still use winamp is that I love the playlist
editor. No need for the library at all. With the editor it's easy to add and
remove files, move them around, randomise them,

Hey John et al.
I use Winamp too, but I'm not gonna sit here and tell you it should work and you should jump through hoops to get it to work on your system. I've found over the years that there are

Re: What do we like for a media player besides Winamp?
I have used groove music which seems to be, a APP. that came with win 10.
I'm not sure if it's suppose to be a replacement for the media player?
I think win amp is still the best for me after using it

Re: What do we like for a media player besides Winamp?
Yes, really. It will be in the middle of playing music, and it will
crash. I'm using a minimal installation, no device sync stuff, no Winamp
Agent, no library. I have no idea why it crashes and I'm

Thanks for all the recommendations. IIRC, since people seem to be really
worried about this, I never touch the Winamp library. I hit shift-l and
point it at my albums folder. It starts playing but

Re: What do we like for a media player besides Winamp?

Re: What do we like for a media player besides Winamp?
I also recommend fubar 2000 as well. I have shortcuts set up for play rewind and volume ETC. And by the way do not ever ever ever load stuff into the winamp library. Just use explore and find it.

Foobar2000.
https://foobar2000.org
You can set up your own keyboard shortcuts, and it also has a youtube plugin.

An alternative approach may be not to use the Winamp Library at all.
I have never ever imported music into the Winamp library and simply use Explorer or Explorer ++ to organise my Music
