Possibly is, but a lot of people see it as being polite. I'd rather it said thanks to xxx and xxx so and so fixed my problem or did not fix it etc, as that would advise people on where to look next

There is a bug somewhere, I think in Outlook 16 that, when you use control y, craches the program. I don't use Outlook. Try using both control shift tab or just shift tab to move to the message

I mormally find with Narrator Task Manager responds pretty much instantly.
Narrator does not interact with Task Manager in the same way as NVDA as you need to travel across all the eleements

No its was just convenient, In the main I can use the net to bring files over to the later windows machines still. but it did give a way of putting files into cold storage when other machines were not
