Re: Bug in espeak ng used in NVDA Next
Hi Simon,
What version of eSpeak-NG are you using? Looking at: https://github.com/espeak-ng/espeak-ng/releases indicates that the latest version is 1.49.2, which we updated to prior to NVDA

Re: Firefox ESR
That all makes perfect sense to me.
I’m using Office 2010 on this Windows 10 machine. Quite old, but it is what I have and it still works well. I no longer use IE and I keep Firefox up to date.

Re: Windows 10 detected of virus in Virtual Recorder
Hmph its just windows defender targeting the blind again.
Programs your av detects is ok suddenly are problems, just exclude that folder, you may have to reinstall virtual recorder.

Well I am not paying 69 bucks for eloquence.
Interestingly the tiflocomp voices and code factory voices are 115 bucks, is it worth me to buy the newer code factory ones which is better or should I

Re: Windows 10 detected of virus in Virtual Recorder
Can you just exclude that from your virus scanner I don't know how to do this so read its manual if it indeed has one, or start in the settings and look for an exclude from scan list.

Re: Support for Chromium
There is an Sx access google chrome list. I'll have to find the subscribe links but they are a google group. So maybe going to the groups google home page and wearching there would help as well.

Not all software. All software that you use in an environment where it comes into contact with possibly malicious content such as browsers. There is lots of software that you don't need to upgrade.
