Re: Windows 10 detected of virus in Virtual Recorder
I tend to just tell it to ignore it if things happen like this. In msse you can do this.
Obviously you need to be sure of the origin of the software.
it does the same to passview some software I use

Now even my backup in my flash drive has been removed. Does anyone here the link to download the installer for Virtual Recorder. I appreciate your response.

Hi John,
Sorry to hear that. If you do try it again, it would be great if you could document any issues you encounter on our issue tracker: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues as then we will

Hi Simon,
What version of eSpeak-NG are you using? Looking at: https://github.com/espeak-ng/espeak-ng/releases indicates that the latest version is 1.49.2, which we updated to prior to NVDA

Hi John,
The short answer would seem to be that no, there doesn't appear to have been any updates. The add-on is still available from the add-ons page, however as it was never listed as "stable", you

This brings me to the question – what sort of issues are users of Firefox 58 and NVDA experiencing? I know that other major screen-reader does not work with any of the new FF versions, but nVDA does

Re: Firefox ESR
That all makes perfect sense to me.
I’m using Office 2010 on this Windows 10 machine. Quite old, but it is what I have and it still works well. I no longer use IE and I keep Firefox up to date.

Hmph its just windows defender targeting the blind again.
Programs your av detects is ok suddenly are problems, just exclude that folder, you may have to reinstall virtual recorder.

Re: Vocalizer Expressive sapi voices
I also don't care for the fact one has to make sure you deactivate your voices before an upgrade though if its possible to do it and or backup your licence without having all sorts of issues well
