Hi Wilco, Re punctuation, there are two different things here. For writing, like you are asking about, as long as you have "Speak typed characters" on, NVDA should read whatever character you type.

When this happened to me there was a details button. I hit that, then chose to exclude the file. This was several months ago so I don't know if thigns changed. Take care
