Here we go again. If you can, get hold of the latest next snap and run it as a portable. See if things work in that after a system restart. There is also a tool in there for fixing these sort of

It is very easy to import bookmarks from Firefox into Waterfox. Install it, and it gives you options from which to import from.

did you uninstall office programs previously?
one time, i uninstalled openoffice and faced this problem!
i remember that reinstallation of nvda resolved my issue.
