Re: Auto Fill, Google Chrome, NVDA 2018.1?
I seem to have observed something like that, but I've found that the NVDA cursor places itself just one column after the last character in a log-in editable field. That's why the word blank

Re: Win 10 mail app and forcing it to use Edge?
This is a very, very early test to see if users like it. This is only a part of the RS5 testing. To put that bit into perspective, you’re on RS3, unless you’re an Insider, and Insiders are on RS4,

Win 10 mail app and forcing it to use Edge?
There are rumours circulating that Microsoft intends to hard code the choice of browser that there mail app opens when you click on a link in an email. This of course will be Edge.
So is this more

Re: Choosing a Laptop
Yes but toshiba doesn't have duel drives, they have scaled back a lot, and they only support the 7th gen intel and 6th gen.
I am unsure if that is the best way forward.

That would be the easiest way if you want to use the touchpad as quickly and easily as possible. The hinge is a good idea. Most of the time, you can disable the touchpad. I don't know how it may

Great minds think alike, gene. <smile>
I cut a piece of cardboard the size of the touchpad on my HP 8440P and used a piece of adhesive tape from one end of the cardboard to the surface of the laptop.

Re: NVDA and dollars and cents
I put the following list in Notepad.
$577.30
$250.19
$21.67
$5.99
With Microsoft 1-core voices, specifically Microsoft Mark, this reads
just fine arrowing through it, and nothing gets cut off.

Running NVDA 2018-1 on a Win 10 64 bit system. NVDA seems to be inconsistent when it comes to reading numbers that start with the dollar sign. An example would be reading down a list of such
