Re: I take it there have been no improvements to the flawed espeak ng in 2017.4?
It isn't an add on. it's a SAPI five version of Eloquence that will work with any program that supports SAPI5 speech. I got the demo perhaps two or three years ago. I don't remember where but

Where can you find this addon, and how much is it?

I don't know what you will think of it but you can try the demo if you want to evaluate it. As I recall, it runs for seven days.

Well I’m American and no matter what variant of ESpeak it sucks. If somebody programed a Clingon one it would still suck LOL!

Oh, yeah, I forgot the American Espeak is godawful. I always use the default English voice, as I am Australian and it is the closest to my own accent I can get, while also not being painful to listen

You don’t know how the Eloquence synthesizer would work with the dictionary you already have. Your generalization about other synthesizers is just that, a generalization. You don't know if it

That was a good one, Lino. I've tried the e-speak voices and the only one I really like is Max. Linda sounds like she just came out of a tin can.

The add on you were sent is the illegal add on which uses the same inferior implementation as JAWS does. I don't use it but I've heard it.

I used to like my Artic card with the Sonix TTS. In a way, eSpeak sounds sort of like that to me.

My gosh! You are as bad as Zara on here. I refuse to use NVDA 2018.1 and I want to live on WIN XP forever. So who’s the narrow minded one here? Neener neener.

I install NVDA for folks who are new to vision loss, and screenreaders.
I always excuse eSpeak right away, and install the SAPI engine.
