Can you please point me to the link to nvda 2018.1.1? I would like to get it before April and I would like to stay up to date with my windows versions.

Re: screen reader using UEFI?
what you seek to do cannot be done with a screen reader since accessing the EFi settings is outside the OS.

Re: screen reader using UEFI?
I don't really understand what this has to do with UEFI (which I believe is a
replacement for BIOS in older computers).

Would sharp keys do you any good? You can remap any key on the keyboard to do what ever ou want it to do. I really love that little app.

screen reader using UEFI?
I've been trying to look this up but threads and email lists and otherwise say that it cannot be done. With no sighted help, I would like to be able to change my function key

Hi,
No, 2018.1.1 is required. Although most of you are running Version 1709 or
earlier, if you run 2018.1 on the latest Insider Preview build and use
OneCore synthesizer, you'll notice

No, I don't have tool tips turned on. These are the Object Presentation settings I use with NVDA:

Re: Keyboard shortcuts for Libre Office writer
I am kind of amazed so few people have heard of OO and LibreOffice. OpenOffice is far more accessible with NVDA than LO, but LO can take code directly from OO if they want to use some of the same

Re: I take it there have been no improvements to the flawed espeak ng in 2017.4?
This is it. Ideally, it probably shouldn't pause in either case.
Lack of a period?
In this case, there is one. It should pause after "one". One isn't an
abbreviation.
