Hi Brian the NVDA shift z did indeed announce sleep mode on but unfortunately jaws still doesn’t respond to insert space s to turn on speech, any other ideas?

It is perfectly acceptable to run 2016.1 as a portable copy. Any particular reason you want 2015.4? also, running old versions of programs is a security risk. Newer versions of programs always patch

In addition to mk360's suggestion, which is a good one, you might also try the NVDA "Toggle application sleep mode on/off" keystroke to essentially suspend NVDA completely until/unless

I would ask why don’t you just use NVDA to read in English as well? NVDA reads perfectly good English.

I have been using avira's antivir here for a while. Mostly accessible. my wife uses it also and she got that windows explorer virus wear explorer can't open files or folders any more. using it

I am using sophus and after a bit of a shaky start I now have it on 3 of my many computers and it is Ok seems to be fully accessible. I admit I have not looked around to see what the ratings are like
