I’ve used an online program, don’t remember the name! But it really sucks. Non of the audio gets transferred to the original it just like prints out talk talk talk.

I see in the new RC3 of nvda 2018.2 that the dll registration tool is run on install now. However if one puts a portable version on a stick and takes it to another computer at a library, and uses it

Turning text to speech
What is the currently suggested nvda friendly program for this task? Ie are there some that work with voices that one can add dictionary corrections to, as many Microsoft synths like speech platform

I havn't found a way to stop it updating, however you can continue to download and use classic for now.
On win10 it has no updates so it doesn't ask you to do that.

As for dependencies and Python 3: we're not yet talking about Python 3 transition as something that's in progress; rather, we're talking about wxPython 4, a necessary

Yes, NOtepad++ does it.
If you go to settings, then preferences,
you have to choose the tab, auto complete, Check Html/xml tags.

Just to clarify, i do not think its an issue in the new current rc3 of 2018.2 is it? its when the new code for getting ready for Python 3 hits nvda that we all may need to go on an add on updating
