Re: Loosing control of NVDA
Why not do windows r then nvda -r in that dialogue? That restarts it as well.

Re: Loosing control of NVDA
I have to restart NVDA a lot because of the same reasons you said.
There is a way that works to turn it off.
Instead of pressing NVDA+Q, first, keep pressing the control key, and it will shut up in

Re: Quick help with outlook?
We are talking about different things, which I didn't realize until now. You are talking about Outlook Express, which it makes no sense to use unless there is something you consider very important

Re: Quick help with outlook?
It worked fine, and then it was just gone.
It will have to be reinstalled, but then Windows will probably remove it from the computer at the next update.
I suggested he try Thunderbird.

Re: Quick help with outlook?
From your message, it appears that something happened, I think much more likely to the program than to the screen-reader. You could try things like repairing the program. I don't know how you do

NVDA voices
Which voice lets you pause speech and then press shift to pick up where you left off? I have tried numerous ones and so far none of them do this.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
