Hi Gene, you have totally confused me now, I just want to be able to remove bits of audio which do not need to be there, and add in the jingles and music at the appropriate times.

It records in WMA. You can't stop and then append. It is not a program anyone but someone who wants to do the very most simple thing, push a button, record, push a button and stop, would use.
