Pretty sure Skype for Win. 10 doesn't have menus. I'm not talking about Skype 8, but Skype for Win. 10. It mostly works, though it's kind of slow, but I haven't gotten sending files to work from it

Have you gotten sending files to work in Skype on Windows 10? If so, how? I'm fairly sure the keystroke is supposed to be shift-ctrl-f to send a file but I've never gotten it to work, it does

I use Windows 10 with both the most recent NVDA and a slightly older version of JAWS (v. 18) and for the most part I really like it. I find it quite customisable and while I had to do some tweaking,

Yes you can transfer files. It is called i think send files and media. I do’t need high quality sound to do my job. As long as I can understand my students, I’m good.

Personally, I am still using 7, and soon I will purchase a Windows 8 upgrade, and I will wait until the end of Windows 7’s life cycle.
Then I will do the same with 8.
I have tried 10, and don’t

wouldn't use it for talking, because that uses a lot of data (and that is

Well I use Skype and TT on my PC not in a mobile environment due to a Android phone that has 8 GB of memory. I do 99.9 percent of my stuff on said PC with a 200 MBPS download speed on my Spectrum

Very valid point.
I think all of them support it apart from team speak. Though now that I think about it it might support it as well.

I'm really not sure why everyone is hating on skype. Stereo audio is great and all in recordings. When talking, it's just a frustrating distraction. I just want to talk.

Is it free? How accessible is it with NVDA and Windows XP or 7? Is
it web-based or does it use a client?
