By the way, my Firefox just updated to 61.0.2, and now Ctrl+D works as expected. Who knows what was wrong... Never mind; the main thing is that the problem solved itself.

Are you using any popup blockers or ad blockers or noscript or anything that may be causing this problem? If the site is coded so unconventionally, as Brian says, who knows what is causing the

Yes I tried turning off browse mode and then clicking, no luck, however I notice the links say visited link, so I find that strange also.

If you use the nvda key + 2 key it will turn speak typed characters either on and off. If you use the nvda key + 3 it will either turn the speak typed words on or off. The nvda key is a modifier

I suspect it is. CTRL+D works perfectly under Firefox 61.0.1 on my machine, which is updating Firefox in response to my checking my current version number.
