reading mail in outlook 365

Can't select words using latest stable versions Firefox, NVDA
Using Firefox version 61.0.2 (64-bit), when I press control shift
right arrow, words are no longer selected. Anyone else notice this?

hi, Ok it does seem to work, I found the problem, it is Joseph addon Control Usage Assistant I will just disable it if I ever need to try this addon thanks for your help.

Sorry, but I don't have anything other than to say:
1. Be absolutely certain that the Mozilla Apps Enhancements add-on is actually installed and NVDA has been restarted since.

I have never heard of it the closest is the user manual.
I have just turned on nvda + 1 and done the short cut and it refers to
the thunder bird add on.

Could be a problem with the beta 3 of NVDA or, perhaps, where you had focus.
The NVDA + H command for Mozilla Apps Enhancements only works if you're in Thunderbird and in a message list, typically

Hi
yes you had to use object navigation to do it you would then find the column you wanted use the lock mouse button go to the place where you wanted it then unlock the mouse. It was quite easy to do

Thunderbird is accessible at least for mail, addons now are not accessible and maybe some other features.

Yeah, it's just a silly popup that you can normally ignore. If you need to, use Malwarebytes to clear any unwanted browser objects that might make it come back.

I haven't used Thunderbird enough to evaluate that. I used it a little years ago so I could learn how to use it for a presentation I gave but almost not at all since.

The one thing that bothers me about thunderbird is that it's quite sluggish. Now that I think of it, I'm glad I'm staying with outlook.
