Re: Returns at Amazon.com don't work with screenreaders
Thanks, I will the next time I have a return.
That does not happen often, and maybe that is why Amazon hasn’t had a lot of complaints.

Re: A security change in Chrome you would be wise to correct
I’ve seen others report extreme memory usage related to Chrome before. Surely google’s looked into it.
I do like how Chrome is very fast and responsive, at least to start with. Thing is, I

Re: A security change in Chrome you would be wise to correct
Hi,
I don't have many open and tend to close them. I'm not sure if I have a setting ticked that interferes with the memory issue or not but I may try and revert to factory defaults etc.

That’s crazy.
How many tabs do you have open before that happens?
I’m mostly still using Firefox and, bar periodic irritating crashes, am really happy.

Re: Adobe Acrobat vs. QRead

QRead is also not good if your pdf is divided into columns. The acrobat reader will try and read the columns separately while QRead will read both columns as one line making the text sound really

Definitely sounds like malware to me, especially if Chrome is opening instances all on its own/even when closed. I have seen malware behave in this manner many times.

Never blocked any such thing for years. I used to suppress download of images when I was on dialup (and I was on dialup for longer than most), but still … a long time ago.

If you had images blocked, it wouldn't work. If you had JAVA scripts off or blocked, I doubt it would work either.
