I don't recall the details. the article I linked to describes what may be patterns in those who may have the problem.

I wonder if this problem only happened to those using the upgrade assistant? I used the media creator and did not have any problems. Nor did I lose any files.

It may be worse than I thought. it may be just plain neglegence.
In my past writings on this subject, I've assumed that the problem in the latest major update was caused by defects in the insider

It won't even let me install the audible manager. I keep getting, "connection to server has been reset".

Also, in case there is any confusion, I was replying to Shaun, but I didn't keep that message so the message below mine isn't the one I was replying to. Shaun said he might never use a Microsoft

Also, the logic used in this argument is incorrect. Even if being signed in had a role in file deletion, that doesn't mean it is the fault of the cloud services per se or that in future being signed

Not for the most part, in fact I would argue to an extent they have crippled Office's useability by refusing to abandon some really old keystrokes - for instance just on the ribbons, half the reason

Funnily enough I've heard this. Does this mean in the newer versions of word they have changed the keys we used to use?

Re: Speeding up one-core voices.
I used Brian's way, though I'll have to try ease of access too. I wouldn't put it up to the maximum because for me, that gets choppy and hard to understand. I have the Windows speech slider set to 75%

Re: Speeding up one-core voices.
Hi all!
To speed up the One Core voices:
Press Windows+I to open the settings app.
Tab once, and go to the Ease of access category!
Then, go to speech and press enter.
Then, tab to more speech

I don't use them either, Shaun, and I never had a problem. I feel bad for those who have had issues, though.

Well would be fine its only if you are signed in to ms cloud services.
I don't use them, it may just in fact make me decide to just never sign in to onedrive or ever use it so windows doesn't delete

Speeding up one-core voices.
Hi all. Where do you go to adjust the speed of one-core voices? Not in NVDA, you go somewhere else to increase the speed in Windows. I can't for the life of me remember it, so of course I need to do
