It worked using both methods in previous releases of NVDA and the reason I would like to go bluetooth is USB times out after a while, thanks.

Firstly I would ask whether it worked with a previous version of NVDA, or is
this the first version you're trying to connect it with?

Proofreading a message is not the same as receiving a message. Proofreading a message being composed will usually not show links as links, as far as I know. As far as I know, this is JAWS doing what

You could try with JAWS or Narrator or something else. I would think the usual reason for doing such comparisons would be to try to determine if NVDA is causing a problem or if the problem is

I just use timing is all. If it takes 5 seconds to close word with nvda on and you shut down nvda and close word then start nvda after 3 seconds or what not you will know. You could also use narrator
